Emergency Department RN — McKinney, TX

This night-shift ED position (18:00–06:00) is an ASAP start in a fast-paced emergency department serving both a main ED and a pediatric/behavioral emergency area. The contract runs 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

The ED manages a high-acuity, mixed patient population typical of a busy emergency setting, including patients held in the ED pending inpatient admission. Clinicians are expected to perform the full scope of emergency nursing procedures in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

• Night shift: 18:00–06:00
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• No on-call requirement

Float

May float to cover ED patients in holding status within the department.

Dress Code

Royal blue scrubs, top and bottom.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Ideal Candidate

• Strong emergency nursing skill set with experience in a comparable ED setting
• Demonstrated high-caliber patient experience skills
• High energy, self-motivated, and collaborative
• Quick availability with minimal time-off requests at the start of the contract
