Emergency Department RN — Kingwood, TX

Evenings | 13-Week Contract

This Emergency Department position offers a 13-week contract with a 1:00 PM–1:00 AM shift, guaranteed 36 hours per week. The unit operates at a fast pace, caring for a broad range of emergency presentations with an emphasis on acute and potentially trauma-related cases.

Unit Highlights

• Active, high-volume emergency environment
• Clinical procedures include IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and resuscitation
• Trauma experience is a strong plus, though not required
• No floating required
• Royal blue scrubs required

Schedule

• Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per month
• No on-call obligations

Requirements

• Acute ER experience is required — candidates without it will not be considered
• Active RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

Ideal Candidate

The facility values clinicians who are active, engaged, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment. Trauma experience is preferred and will be prioritized during review.
