Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Cardiology

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join a busy outpatient cardiology practice. You'll provide direct patient care, support providers, and serve as a key member of the care coordination team in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring
• Conduct telephone and respond to patient inquiries
• Coordinate care between patients, providers, and specialists
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Support providers during patient visits and procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in telephone
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiology nursing experience
• Knowledge of telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Familiarity with ambulatory electronic health records

Schedule & Contract Details

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Start date: October 5, 2026
