About the Role
The facility's obstetrics unit is seeking an experienced RN to join the team on a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care on a busy labor and delivery or postpartum unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for pregnant, laboring, and postpartum patients. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, midwives, and interprofessional staff, while mentoring LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries.
Schedule & Details
- Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3P–3A / 3A–3P)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Start: October 8, 2026
- Weekends: Every third weekend
- Orientation: October 8–20
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of OB experience
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
- Current Ohio or Compact RN license
- Active certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- Skills checklist current to within one year, specific to OB/GYN
- Ability and willingness to function as first assist and scrub OB (highly preferred)
- Flexibility with schedule changes and adaptability to unit needs
