Nuclear Medicine Technologist – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment beginning in May. This is a day shift role ideal for experienced professionals looking for a travel opportunity.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week scheduled; 36 hours guaranteed
• 8-hour non-billable orientation
• No call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
• Venipuncture experience required
• CT experience preferred
• GE machine experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

Clinical Scope

You will perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, patient injections, and related technical duties in a hospital setting.

Compliance & Onboarding

• Complete verbal de-escalation training (Welle or CPI) prior to start
• Pass 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Provide permanent address (must match driver's license); address validation required
• Candidates with permanent addresses in certain New York counties are not eligible

Additional Details

• Dress code: Solid-color personal scrubs only (no designs, cartoons, or hoodies)
• Overtime multiplier: 1.25x
• Holiday multiplier: 1.25x
• Requested time off must be noted at submission (maximum 5 days for the contract)
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13 weeks with 2-hour notice

Previous travel experience is strongly encouraged.
