Contract Rad/CT Technologist – Nights | Allen, TX
This temporary 6-week contract covers overnight imaging needs across Emergency Department, inpatient, trauma, and stroke workflows. The role requires proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiography, with the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Schedule
- Orientation/training begins September 14, 2026 (day shift, up to 40 hours that week)
- Transition nights: September 23–25, 2026 | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Primary rotation begins September 27, 2026:
- Week 1: Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours)
- Week 2: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (48 hours)
- No call required
Clinical Scope
- Perform CT and diagnostic radiology exams per department protocols
- Support emergent and urgent imaging including stroke and trauma cases
- Prioritize and manage overnight imaging requests with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) certification — required
- ARRT (CT) certification — required
- Current Texas MRT license — required
- Current BLS certification — required
- Minimum 2 years of recent combined Rad/CT experience
- Stroke imaging experience — required
- Experience supporting ED and inpatient imaging workflows
