Medical-Surgical RN/LPN
Shift: 12-hour days, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend required; weekdays and weekends as assigned
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role
Join a busy medical-surgical unit managing diverse patient populations and acuity levels. You'll care for patients with conditions including chest pain, heart failure, ia, pancreatitis, orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, and pediatric cases. This is a high-variety environment requiring a strong med-surg foundation.
Patient assignments: No more than 5 patients per nurse.
Clinical Scope & Support
- No drip titration required
- Respiratory therapy on-site to manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
- Telemetry monitoring handled by ICU monitors; strips sent for your documentation
- Three nursing aides per shift provide support
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN or LPN license; BLS (AHA) and NIHSS required for all RNs and LPNs; ACLS and PALS recommended
- Experience: Strong med-surg background preferred due to patient variety
- Valid driver's license required at submission
Scheduling & Flexibility
- 12-hour shifts with flexibility; manager open to block scheduling preferences
- Floating to other units as needed—you may assist as an extra set of hands or tasker
- No on-call requirement
- Orientation: 3–5 days on-unit with manager, education department training, and system education
Dress Code: Any scrub color except camo or orange.
