Cardiac Sonographer | Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic | Jackson, TN

Contract: 6 weeks | Start Date: October 5, 2026

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 07:00–16:30 (4x10-hour days)

No weekends | No holidays | No on-call

This short-term opportunity places a Cardiac Sonographer in an outpatient cardiovascular surgery clinic environment serving an adult patient population. The clinic sees approximately 8 patients per day in a structured, predictable schedule.

Clinical Scope

• Perform echocardiograms and cardiovascular ultrasound studies
• Vascular ultrasound experience strongly preferred, including lower extremity studies, carotid imaging, and ABIs

Required Credentials & Certifications

• RDCS or RCS credentials (issued by ARDMS or CCI)
• RVT credential preferred
• BLS required
• Active Tennessee license or compact state license

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Electronic health record experience within the past 12 months, clearly documented on profile
• Candidates must pass an EHR competency exam; only one attempt is permitted

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Influenza vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Two supervisory references required at submission
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; no additional RTO will be approved after submission
• Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven
• No block scheduling accommodated
