Location: Norman, OK
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour days)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: Days only; no on-call or weekend requirements
About the Role
Join the rehabilitation team at the facility to provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services. You will screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, developing individualized plans of care grounded in evidence-based practice and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Screen and evaluate patients; develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Utilize standardized assessments to guide clinical interventions
- Document progress, adjust treatments based on outcomes, and modify services as indicated
- Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record system
- Supervise and support CFY and student Speech-Language Pathologists
- Adhere to ASHA practice standards and state licensure requirements
Qualifications
- Required: 1+ year SLP experience
- Required: LTC or rehabilitation setting experience
- Required: Oklahoma State License
- Required: CCC certification
- New graduates with Level II clinical experience are considered
- 3+ years holding active CCS preferred
