Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. You will develop individualized plans of care, implement evidence-based interventions, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using standardized assessments
  • Assess patient progress regularly and adjust treatment accordingly
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Document all clinical information in the electronic health record system
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Prepare discharge summaries meeting regulatory and clinical requirements
  • Support and supervise Clinical Fellows or student SLPs as assigned
  • Maintain compliance with ASHA and state practice standards

Requirements

  • Oklahoma State SLP License (required)
  • CCC Certification (required)
  • Minimum 1 year post-graduate SLP experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience (required)
  • New graduates considered if Level II clinical experience completed

Position Details

  • Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8-hour shifts
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: October 19, 2026
