Med/Surg Telemetry RN — 12-Hour Nights | Franklin, NH

This telemetry unit manages a medical-surgical patient population requiring cardiac monitoring and neurological assessment. The role involves managing vasoactive and neurological drip protocols in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 shifts per week
• Every-other-weekend commitment
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
• Cardizem and insulin drip management (hyperglycemia protocol)
• Phenobarbital administration on telemetry
• Neurological assessments using NIHSS

Float Requirement

Travelers may be requested to float to a sister facility in Laconia, NH.

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam with 80% or higher during onboarding
• 2 recent Charge or Manager RN references
• Completed specialty skills checklist
• NURSYS license verification report required
• RTO must be submitted at time of application

Preferred

• Prior charting experience in an electronic health record system
• Documented travel nursing experience (first-time travelers with strong backgrounds will be considered)
