Position Overview

The facility's interventional radiology department is seeking a travel Rad Tech for a 13-week assignment. You'll work full-time in a high-volume IR suite performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule & Expectations

• Primary Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• On-Call Coverage: Rotating on-call required
• Weekdays: 15 hours (4:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekends & Holidays: 24 hours (beginning 7:00 AM)
• No blocked scheduling accommodation

Clinical Scope

You will assist with a comprehensive range of IR procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, catheter/drain exchange, IVC filter placement and removal, dialysis interventions, PICC line placement, liver biopsy, radiofrequency ablation, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS procedures, and genitourinary studies. You'll maintain sterile fields, manage equipment and inventory, and work collaboratively with interventional radiologists and nursing staff. This department does not perform neuro cases.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• BLS and ARRT R certifications required
• Valid state license/certification at time of submission
• ACLS and ARRT VI certifications preferred
