OR RN – General Surgery
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN to join the surgical team. You'll work in a fast-paced operating room environment supporting a variety of surgical cases with a focus on neuro and orthopedic procedures. Robotics experience is beneficial; versatility across surgical specialties is essential.
Schedule & Commitment
- Shift: 10-hour days, 4 days per week (10x4)
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (schedule varies; call required)
- Guaranteed: 40 hours weekly
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience in neuro and orthopedic surgery
- AHA BLS & ACLS certification (current)
- Charting system experience required
- Ability to function independently and adapt to multiple surgical specialties
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
