Cytotechnologist – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility's laboratory is seeking a Cytotechnologist for a 14-week contract. You'll work day shift, 5 days per week (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), with every other weekend off and no call requirements.

Clinical Scope

You'll perform analytical procedures on specimens from neonates through geriatric patients, executing, interpreting, and analyzing results—particularly abnormal or atypical findings. Your work requires strong technical and analytical skills to ensure accurate, quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year cytotechnology experience
• ASCP or IAC certification as a Cytotechnologist
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Schedule & Time Off

• Day shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary slightly)
• Every other weekend
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract (must be finalized at submission)
• Rare floating within facility scope as needed
• No call; no orientation-week time off

Holiday Expectations

You'll be expected to work major holidays falling within your assignment period as follows: work 1 of 1, both if 2, or 2 of 3 holidays that fall during your contract.

Onboarding

Full compliance required to start on time. Core items and labs due within 48 hours of signing; all compliance documents due the Tuesday before your start date. Orientation includes non-billable modules specific to the role.
