Operating Room RN — Travel Contract

Augusta, GA | Day Shift 4x10 (06:30–17:00) | 8-Week Contract

This high-volume OR handles a broad surgical caseload across orthopedics, spine/neuro, robotics, urology, colorectal, and general surgery. The unit runs 16 rooms with an average daily census of 35, serving adolescent through geriatric patients. Both scrub and circulate experience are required.

Service Line Highlights:

• High volume of total joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder) including robotic-assisted cases
• Robotic surgery across general, urology, colorectal, and gynecologic specialties
• Complex spine and neuro cases: cervical/lumbar/thoracic fusions, kyphoplasty, craniotomies, and laminectomies
• Urology procedures including TURP, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and aquablation
• Orthopedic trauma: ORIF, ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy

Note: This OR does not include scrub or circulate responsibilities for vascular or occupational health specialties.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years OR experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Previous charge experience required
• BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Travel experience required

Scheduling & Call:

• Weekends: 2–3 per 8-week schedule (in-house or on-call)
• Call: Average 7–8 calls per 8-week period; call shifts run 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage expected per facility policy
• Max RTO: 7 days; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission

Scrubs: Provided by the facility

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
