Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week contract, October 12, 2026 through February 27, 2027. This is a night shift role in a busy acute care setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 days per week (12-hour shifts)
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- On-Call: None
- Float: No floating between units
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed one call-off per two-week pay period
Clinical Details
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as an RN (first-time travelers welcome)
- License: Valid state license; Compact license required at submission
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- References: Two references required, covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
Important Notes
- Scrubs: Solid royal blue
- Free parking
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Background check required (facility does not accept Nursys hits)
