CT / Radiology Technologist – Night Shift (Weekend)
South Carolina | 13-Week Contract
This weekend-only night shift position covers CT and X-ray services for the Emergency Department and inpatient population at a facility serving as a primary stroke center. Two techs are staffed per shift, splitting coverage across both modalities.
Shift Details
- Saturday and Sunday nights only: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- No on-call required
- Contract duration: 13 weeks | Anticipated start: October 2026
Clinical Scope
- CT and X-ray coverage for ED and inpatient cases
- Patient transport to/from the ED as needed
- Imaging procedures include: chest, abdomen/pelvis, head, brain perfusion, soft tissue neck, vascular (PE, CTA, aorta), musculoskeletal trauma, sinuses, lumbar, thoracic, carotid, and colorectal studies
- Contrast preparation and administration; peripheral IV starts
- Patient population: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Off-site radiologists available for remote reads and questions during shift hours
Float Requirement
Float to X-ray as needed; floating is limited to areas within your documented competencies.
Scrub Color: Hunter Green
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT)
- BLS
- South Carolina Radiology License
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in the field
- Minimum 1 year of radiology-specific EMR experience required
- First-time travelers considered based on experience
Vaccines
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
