ICU

Medical ICU — Travel RN | Night Shift | Easley, SC

This 13-week contract (with potential for 26 weeks) places you in a Medical ICU caring for adult and geriatric patients, including COVID-ICU cases. The unit manages high-acuity patients requiring ventilator management, continuous IV sedation, and dysrhythmia interpretation and management. An interdisciplinary team including Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response supports daily care.

Schedule

• 4x12-hour night shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required (schedule may flex based on unit need)
• Float required to like units within the health system if census demands

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks (holiday coverage; 26-week option available)
• Start: October 12, 2026
• Orientation: Mondays; pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials (up to 16 hours of module time is reimbursable)
• Extension policy: Travelers may not extend beyond three consecutive 13-week contracts without converting to employee status or taking a minimum six-month break

Requirements

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Electronic health record proficiency: minimum 1 year of experience required
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate

Clinical Skills Required

• Care of ventilated patients
• Continuous IV sedation management
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

First-time travelers will be considered based on experience.
