Emergency Room RN — Travel Contract | Night Shift | Seneca, SC
This 13-week night shift contract places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a broad patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics. The ED sees high daily volume and is supported by a full interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response, social services, phlebotomy, and interpretation services.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required (subject to change based on unit need)
- Orientation: 12 hours, beginning on Mondays
Required Certifications
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI/MAB
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
- At least 1 year of electronic health record experience in a comparable system
- First-time travelers may be considered based on clinical background
Float Requirement
Float to other units and campuses may be required based on census. Floating is limited to areas within your demonstrated competencies.
Pre-Assignment Requirements
- Completion of online modules required within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
- Up to 16 hours of module completion is eligible for reimbursement
- Annual compliance requirements apply
Additional Details
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Travelers must meet facility distance eligibility requirements
- Extensions are subject to facility policy; travelers may not extend beyond three consecutive 13-week contracts without a conversion or separation period
