Interventional Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract beginning ASAP. You'll work in a busy interventional radiology suite supporting a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Schedule & Details
- Shift: 4 × 10-hour days per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours/week with guaranteed work week
- On-Call: Required
- Location: Lithonia, GA, with willingness to float to other campuses as needed
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with procedures including port placements, PTA angioplasty, transcatheter stenting, declotting, pulmonary angiography, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography, percutaneous nephrostomy, permanent vascular catheters, PICCs, and lower extremity run-off interventions.
Requirements
- ARRT certification (current through contract end)
- BLS certification
- Minimum 18 months interventional radiology experience within the last 3 years
- RCIS or equivalent experience accepted
- Credentialing required
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with relevant imaging systems
- Electronic health record experience
About the Role
This is a hands-on position in an active interventional suite. You'll work alongside radiologists and nursing staff in a fast-paced environment managing high-acuity cases and diverse procedures.
