ICU RN – Float Pool

Location: Atlanta, GA

Shift: Day 12-hour (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Contract Duration: 14 weeks

Start Date: October 4, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a float pool assignment across multiple critical care and acute settings. You will rotate through ICU, emergency department, step-down, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) as needed to support patient flow and census demands.

Clinical Scope

You'll care for high-acuity patients including post-operative, sepsis, cardiac, and other critical-care populations. The role may include limited ER patient assignments. Float assignments ensure exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
• Ability to work flexible scheduling with minimal time off requests
