Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Night Shift
Position Details
The facility is seeking a nurse for its progressive care unit on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week. One position is available.
Clinical Environment
The PCU cares for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention — those stepping down from critical care or at risk of clinical deterioration. You'll manage a mixed patient population with varied diagnoses, perform frequent vital sign assessments, respond to rapid changes in patient condition, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Kentucky)
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work nights in a busy unit environment
- Professional communication and teamwork skills
