Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity places you on a busy inpatient Neurosciences unit in Asheville, NC. The unit manages a diverse neurological patient population, with clinical emphasis on stroke, neuro-medical, and post-procedure care.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 18:45–07:15
• Every other weekend required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Clinical Scope

• Neuro-focused med/surg acuity
• Routine procedures include Foley insertion and IV placement
• Float potential to other med/surg floors

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Preferred Experience

• Prior neuroscience or neuro-med/surg nursing background

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is outgoing and self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously on nights while collaborating with a charge nurse, CNAs, and unit coordinator. Candidates without ACLS and NIH certification will not be considered.
