Labor & Delivery RN — Asheville, NC
13-Week Travel Contract | Days | 36 Hours Guaranteed
This Labor & Delivery position is based in Asheville, NC, on a busy unit that manages both routine and high-risk obstetric patients. The unit runs a full scope of obstetric procedures and is supported by a collaborative team of RNs, Charge Nurses, PCTs, and CSTs across all shifts.
Shift Details
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekends not required; on-call available upon approval
- Contract start: October 5, 2026
Clinical Scope
- Vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst
- High-risk obstetric care and immediate newborn management
- Float potential to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- High-risk OB experience (required)
- Immediate newborn care competency
- Active NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Circulating experience in an OB/surgical setting
