ICU Nurse – Asheville, NC
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position working day shifts.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: September 14, 2026
Clinical Environment
You'll deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting, managing high-acuity patients and collaborating closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, monitoring of critical equipment and vital signs, documentation, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Current RN license (NC)
- Current ACLS certification
- ICU experience required
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
