Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a night shift position in Asheville, NC.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: October 12, 2026

Role Responsibilities

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, triaging patients, administering treatments, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely emergency care. Night shifts bring a different patient mix and rhythm—expect autonomy, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple acute presentations.

Requirements

• Current RN license (North Carolina)
• BLS certification required
• Emergency nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently during night hours
• Strong communication and assessment skills
