Radiology Tech – Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with dedicated catheterization lab expertise to join the cardiac cath lab team. You must be comfortable both scrubbing and operating imaging equipment in a fast-paced interventional setting.
The Role
You'll work in a busy cardiac catheterization lab performing a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, TAVR, TEER, electrophysiology cases, ECMO support, Impella management, device placements (ICD/PPM), peripheral interventions, and endovascular repairs. You'll be part of a skilled 4-person team per case, collaborating closely with cardiologists and nursing staff.
Schedule & Staffing
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Self-scheduling with 7–8 call days per month
- 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours/week
- No floating required
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proven cath lab experience (scrubbing and fluoroscopy)
- Moderate sedation experience preferred
