Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist with demonstrated Cath Lab expertise to join the cardiac catheterization lab. You will perform both scrubbing and imaging responsibilities within the lab setting, supporting a high-volume cardiac intervention program.
Clinical Scope
The lab performs a wide range of cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVR), transcatheter edge-to-edge repairs (TEER), electrophysiology studies, ECMO support, Impella placements, ICD/pacemaker insertions, and peripheral/endovascular procedures. You'll work as part of a 4-person team per case in a 5-lab environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Self-scheduling model
- 7–8 call days per month
- 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification (required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Proven Cath Lab experience with scrubbing and X-ray capabilities
- Moderate sedation experience preferred
What We're Looking For
Candidates with solid Cath Lab background—not CT/MRI cross-training. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced cardiac intervention setting and able to manage multiple procedure types with accuracy and efficiency.
