Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Corpus Christi, TX

This 13-week travel nursing contract places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Corpus Christi, TX. The unit manages the full acuity spectrum, from ESI 5 through ESI 1, with a focus on timely intervention for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Mandatory shift huddles at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM (unless providing critical care)

Clinical Scope

• Patient population: Low-to-high acuity (ESI 4 & 5 primary, with ESI 1–3 as needed)
• Procedures include: assessment, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IV placement, urine collection, and lab draws
• EMTALA training required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Level II or Level III trauma experience
• TNCC, ENPC, or PALS; plus ACLS and BLS

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN or TCRN certification
• CPI certification
• 2+ years of emergency department experience
