Cath Lab Tech – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week day shift assignment (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) in a high-volume cardiovascular services unit. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment performing a broad range of interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures.
Unit Details
You'll work in a 3-room cath lab (2 EP-compatible) with a staffing model of 2 RNs and 2 CV techs per case, unless anesthesia or non-invasive teams are involved. The unit performs catheterizations, PCI, electrophysiology ablations (A-fib), Watchman procedures, TAVR, INARI, and device placements (PPM, ICD, Impella).
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum cath lab experience required
- RCIS or cardiovascular nurse certification preferred
- Call coverage: Yes (evenly distributed among staff)
- Weekend on-call participation expected
Schedule & Expectations
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- On-call rotation for emergent cases
Dress Code
Royal blue or black scrubs required.
