Cath Lab Tech – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
Day shift cath lab technician role in a high-volume cardiovascular services unit. This is a fast-paced environment with strong clinical outcomes and significant procedural volume.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Call: Yes, evenly distributed among staff for emergent cases
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start: Immediately
Clinical Scope
The unit operates 3 cath lab rooms (2 EP-compatible) performing a full range of coronary and electrophysiology procedures:
- Catheterizations and PCI
- Electrophysiology ablations (A-fib)
- TAVR, Watchman, and device placements (PPM, ICD, Impella)
- INARI and specialized interventions
Typical staffing: 2 RNs and 2 CV techs per case, with flexibility for anesthesia or non-invasive procedures.
Requirements
- Must have: Cath lab experience
- Preferred: RCIS or cardiovascular nursing certification
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS current
- Dress Code: Royal blue or black scrubs
