Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for day shift work. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of October 23, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Options available for 4x12 or 2x12 schedules (discuss with recruiter)
• Auto offer eligible

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Tele experience
• Permanent Ohio license or current compact state license in hand at submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references will not be considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Compliance & Screening

• Negative 10-panel drug screen (including nicotine) required within 12 months of start; must be updated annually
• BCI/FBI background check completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• No open background cases or license hits accepted
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Orientation

• Pre-start and annual modules required (average 6–15 hours)
• 4 hours of modules are billable

Contract Details

• 13 weeks | 48 guaranteed hours/week
• Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter
