Med-Surg/Telemetry Nurse – Day Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts with flexibility in scheduling options: 3x12-hour (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), 4x12-hour, or 2x12-hour configurations.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 12 months of permanent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required.
• License: Permanent Ohio license or active compact license in hand at time of submission.
• Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS; willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start.
• Reference: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (within the past 12 months). Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references are not considered.

Clinical Scope

You'll demonstrate strong competency in ECG rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management. During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment—both with a maximum of two attempts to pass.

Additional Information

• Contract is 13 weeks with 48 guaranteed hours per week.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available).
• Background check and drug screen required within 12 months of start.
• All RTO/scheduling details must be confirmed and submitted at time of offer; changes cannot be made afterward.
• Onboarding includes orientation modules (pre-start and annual competencies apply for extended assignments).
