NICU RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced NICU RN to join a high-acuity neonatal unit. You'll provide specialized care to critically ill and surgical neonates, working day shifts with a weekend block schedule.

Schedule & Requirements

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour blocks
  • Days: Saturday, Sunday, plus one weekday shift per week
  • Contract: 13 weeks
  • Flexibility: Open to float to other units as needed
  • Holiday Coverage: Must work at least one holiday if it falls during your contract period

Clinical Scope

You'll care for complex neonatal patients with diagnoses including congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS), necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF/EA), abdominal wall defects, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative cases.

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license
  • Level IV/surgical NICU experience
  • PALS certification required
  • NRP preferred
  • Flu vaccine (required; no exemptions)
  • Current drug screen and nicotine screening (required)

Nicotine-free facility. All candidates must complete drug screening and nicotine testing as a condition of employment.
