Radiologic Technologist – Radiation Oncology
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join its radiation oncology department on a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM) in a busy clinical environment treating a variety of cancer cases.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience
- Current California state license (must be active at time of submission; no pending or temporary licenses)
- ARRT R or ARRT T certification
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with Impac MOSAIQ treatment planning software
- Adult inpatient and outpatient experience
- CBCT/kV/mV imaging expertise
- Demonstrated ability to manage emergency cases
- Two professional references (supervisor level or above) from employment within the past 12 months
- Flu vaccination required; no exemptions

What You'll Do
- Operate external beam therapy and CT simulation equipment
- Support stereotactic radiosurgery and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) procedures
- Manage simulation of treatment sites and tumor localization
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 14 therapists
- Provide compassionate patient and family education
- Handle emergency cases and complex oncology workflows
Schedule & Expectations
- Days only; no floating or on-call requirements
- No scheduling requests accommodated
- No time off during the first 2 weeks
- Flexibility required; hours may adjust based on department needs
