Night Shift Emergency Department Position
Position Details
- Specialty: Emergency Department
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: Night shifts with on-call and weekend coverage as needed
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
Clinical Role
You'll work in a fast-paced emergency department environment, providing direct patient care across a range of acute and emergent conditions. This role requires the ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously, respond quickly to changing acuity levels, and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members during high-volume periods.
Required Credentials & Certifications
- Current state nursing license (RN) or relevant healthcare license
- COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Hepatitis B vaccinations
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Physical/health statement and background clearance
- Drug screening
- CPR/BLS certification (specialty-specific)
Onboarding Requirements
Standard credentialing, compliance training, and orientation will be completed prior to start date. This includes confidentiality agreements, abuse reporting training, competency assessments, and system access setup.
