Operating Room – Surgical Services
Location: Asheville, NC
Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Variable schedule with required call
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed 36 hours/week
About the Role:
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced surgical nurse with advanced competency across multiple specialties. You'll support a high-volume surgical program performing general, gynecologic, robotic, neuro, orthopedic, plastic, urologic, burn, and trauma cases. This is a dynamic environment requiring broad surgical knowledge and the ability to work flexibly across service lines.
Required Qualifications:
- Skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular procedures (non-negotiable)
- Broad surgical knowledge with demonstrated experience across multiple specialty services
- Current RN license and required OR certifications
- Ability to float to other departments as needed
