Emergency Department RN – 6-Week Contract
Shift: 18:45–07:15 (nights)
Contract: 6 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 48/week

Key Responsibilities
- Float flexibly across all ED sections as needed
- Utilize AIDET patient experience protocols
- Work with available techs, unit clerks, and monitoring staff
- Maintain current documentation and communication with the care team
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as a registered nurse; at least 1 year in an ED setting
- Experience in high-volume, trauma, or stroke-center environments preferred
- Strong teamwork mentality with ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
Certifications (before start date):
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
- ENPC within 90 days of hire
Schedule:
- Every other weekend mandatory
- No block scheduling; scheduling meets departmental needs
- No special scheduling accommodations
Uniform
Navy scrubs required.
Orientation
4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour floor shift.
Rapid responder role—flexibility and commitment to the ED's operational needs essential.
