Respiratory Therapist – Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an RRT for a 13-week travel contract working nights (7 PM – 7 AM). You'll provide respiratory care across adult medical/surgical floors, the emergency department, and a dedicated ICU unit.
Clinical Scope
You'll manage patients with COPD, asthma, COVID-19, and other respiratory conditions. Common equipment includes Servo-U and Servo-I ventilators, Airvo, and V-60 BiPAP devices. You'll perform patient assessments, mechanical ventilation management, weaning protocols, and non-invasive ventilation support.
Schedule & Requirements
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour nights per week (36 hours/week)
- Location: Lithonia, Georgia
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Dress Code: Hunter green scrubs
Qualifications
- RRT credential required
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience
- Georgia license
- Adult care experience (no pediatrics)
No on-call or weekend call requirements beyond your scheduled night shifts.
