Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care — RN / LPN
Shift & Schedule
12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), every other weekend required. 36 guaranteed hours per week. Always an RN on-site. Travel float as needed before core staff.
The Unit
A skilled nursing and long-term care floor serving 30 residents per unit across private rooms. You'll care for a mix of long-term residents and those recovering strength to return home. Common diagnoses include sepsis, cardiac events (NSTEMI, CHF), chronic kidney failure, femur fractures, and UTIs.
Your Role
LPN duties: Medication administration, wound care, Foley and catheter care, PEG tube feedings, ostomy and tracheostomy care.
RN duties: IV therapy management, PICC lines, mediports, central lines, and IV antibiotics/fluids.
Staffing & Support
Requirements
- BLS/CPR certification required before day one
- No tele monitors; RNs do not read telemetry strips
- N95 masks for infection control; COVID vaccine not required
- 2-shift orientation
- Navy blue scrubs (RN/LPN)
Contract Details
13 weeks; 2 shifts cancellation allowance per 13-week term.
