Post-Surgical Care Unit – RN
Position Overview
Join the post-surgical care unit as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. You'll provide direct patient care in a supportive team environment where collaboration with providers, surgical residents, and nursing staff is valued.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Float Assignment: You may be asked to float to different units within a 35-mile radius based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity. You'll always receive advance notice before your shift.
Clinical Scope
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required at submission)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
- Willing to complete onboarding exams including medical-surgical and EKG assessments
