Emergency Department – Registered Nurse
The Opportunity
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 16-week contract. You'll work nights in a high-acuity setting with a collaborative, supportive team that prioritizes quality patient care and specializes in geriatric emergency medicine.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts (3P–3A / 7P–7A rotation)
- 36 hours per week
- One weekend shift per contracted week (or two every other weekend)
- At least one holiday shift required per contract
- Blocked scheduling available; fixed blocks can be arranged as Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon
- Optional on-call available: ~2 hours per week, shifts in 4-, 8-, 12-, or 16-hour blocks (7P–7A)
Clinical Environment
You'll care for high-acuity patients in a modern emergency setting with comprehensive services including specialized geriatric emergency care in an ACEP-accredited geriatric ED.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
- 2 years U.S. work history (required for non-U.S. candidates)
- Active New York RN license
- NIH and AHA BLS certifications
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

- Duration: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 112 contract weeks
