Fetal Echo Sonographer | Cincinnati, OH | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract
This travel position is a dedicated fetal echocardiography role — not general fetal ultrasound. You'll work exclusively with a fetal cardiac patient population, performing comprehensive fetal echocardiograms in a specialized clinical environment. No call, no weekends.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
- Perform fetal echocardiograms on neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
- Obtain and review pertinent patient history and clinical data to support diagnostic accuracy
- Apply 2D optimization and 3D manipulation techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Provide interpreting physicians with oral summaries and preliminary written reports of findings
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, fetal radiologists, and surgical teams — including intraoperative imaging guidance when needed
- Assist with teaching fellows, visitors, and new departmental staff
- Opportunity to contribute to clinical research in prenatal cardiovascular disease
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- ARDMS RDCS-FE certification required
- ARDMS Pediatric (PE) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of fetal echocardiography experience
- Ohio state license required at time of submission
Additional Details
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
- Float within the facility may be required
- 50-mile radius rule applies; candidates within 50 miles are considered local
- Requested time off cannot exceed 5 days for the contract duration
- Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
