Labor & Delivery (L&D) | Night Shift | Galion, OH

13-Week Contract | 3×12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

This L&D travel position is based at a multi-campus community health system in Galion, OH. The role supports a collaborative labor and delivery unit with the expectation that travelers may float across all three system campuses as patient census demands.

Schedule & Logistics

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• On-call requirement: Must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in
• Float requirement: Must be willing to float to Ontario and Bucyrus campuses
• No time off approved for major holidays; any pre-approved RTO must be disclosed at submission

Required Credentials

• Ohio RN license or valid compact license (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous L&D experience
• Two recent supervisory references required

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Up to 8 hours of pre-start, non-billable orientation modules required
• Smoke-free facility and campus
• Clean work history required; prior terminations or contract cancellations may disqualify a candidate
