Cardiac Cath Lab – Houston, TX
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab specialist for a 91-week contract. You'll work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, in a modern 3-room cath lab suite performing a wide range of cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures.
What You'll Do
You'll assist with cardiac catheterizations, interventional radiology cases, vascular procedures, and electrophysiology cases. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work seamlessly with diverse team members, and composure under pressure. Effective communication and critical thinking are essential.
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS certification (required)
- MRT license (required in Texas for Cardiac Cath Lab techs working with radiological equipment)
- Critical Care and Trauma certifications preferred
- Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, or similar high-acuity settings strongly preferred
- Background in ICU, ER, or caring for critically ill patients is valued
Schedule & Logistics
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- On-call: Approximately 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
- No floating
- Scrubs provided
- Full vaccination required
