Cardiac Cath Lab Position
Location: Houston, TX
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday (4 x 10-hour days)
Contract Length: 91 weeks
On-Call: 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
About the Role
The facility's Cath Lab performs a full range of cardiac, interventional radiology, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures in a modern 3-room suite. You'll work Monday–Friday in a fast-paced environment where strong clinical skills, calm judgment, and effective teamwork are essential.
What You'll Do
- Assist with cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, and diagnostic imaging
- Support interventional radiology and vascular procedures
- Manage electrophysiology cases
- Collaborate with cardiologists, interventionalists, and nursing staff
- Apply critical thinking to handle diverse patient acuity levels and procedure types
Required Qualifications
- ACLS and BLS certification
- MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license (required in Texas for cardiac cath lab techs working with radiological equipment)
- Strong clinical background; prior cath lab, IR/vascular, ICU, or ER experience strongly preferred
- Critical Care and Trauma certifications preferred for RN candidates
