Interventional Radiology Technician
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician to join the IR team. You'll perform a variety of interventional procedures under physician supervision, providing essential technical support in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with call responsibilities
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 of the following major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with IR procedures including vascular access, imaging, and patient positioning
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Document procedures accurately
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 2 years of recent, direct IR or EVOR experience
- AHA BLS certification
- Working knowledge of electronic health records
Preferred Experience
- General vascular, coronary angiography, or special procedures
- Prior catheterization lab experience
