Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for night shift work. You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients with a range of diagnoses requiring continuous cardiac observation.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 23, 2026
Requirements
- Experience: 12 months permanent telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience required
- License: Active, permanent the facility license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Certifications: Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS (required); NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
- Reference: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in telemetry/cardiac nursing required (co-worker references will not be accepted)
Onboarding & Compliance
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation; both must be passed
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
- Drug screening (10-panel) required within 12 months of start; updated annually
- BCI/FBI background clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Pre-start orientation modules average 6–15 hours (varies by specialty)
Certifications & Skills
All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission. No pending certifications accepted.
