Labor & Delivery Nurse – 12-Hour Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the maternity team at the facility's labor and delivery unit. You'll provide skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns during one of life's most meaningful moments, working in a modern, well-equipped birthing center designed for safety, comfort, and privacy.
Unit Details
The unit features 12 private labor/delivery/recovery rooms and 23 private postpartum rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, individual climate control, and comfortable amenities for patients and their families. Two operating rooms are dedicated to cesarean deliveries. An on-site Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit supports advanced newborn care when needed.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: September 16, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (required)
- ACLS, BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications (required at hire)
- NRP certification (required upon hire)
- COVID-19 vaccination (no exemptions accepted)
- All required documentation must accompany your submission
Important Policy
Travelers cannot volunteer to leave a shift, refuse an assignment, or receive guaranteed time off (GTE) during orientation week, unit closures, holidays, or weeks with scheduled time off.
