Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — Travel Contract

Jackson, TN | Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 3x12-hour shifts
• Weekends and holidays required
• No on-call obligations

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administration of aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
• Chest physiotherapy (CPT) and incentive spirometry
• Oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP management
• Arteriocentesis and ABG interpretation
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Intubation assist and extubation
• High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy
• Mechanical ventilation management and weaning
• Airway suctioning, nasal/oral airway placement, and sputum collection

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT credential
• Active TN license or compact license at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of RRT experience
• Recent electronic health record experience within the past 18 months, clearly documented on profile; candidates must pass a competency exam (one attempt only)

Vaccines

• COVID-19: Required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Flu: Required (no exemptions)

Additional Details

• Orientation: 36 hours
• Float expectations apply per facility policy
• Two supervisory references required at submission
• All requested time off must be disclosed at submission; no additional RTO will be approved post-submission
