OB Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

Join the Maternity Care Center for a 13-week contract working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn services in a supportive team environment.

Unit Overview

The Maternity Care Center includes labor and delivery rooms, postpartum/gynecology beds, operating suites for cesarean sections, and a wellborn nursery. You'll work alongside experienced nurses, midwives, birth response teams, and OR staff. The night shift is staffed with a clinical coordinator or charge nurse, birth response nurses, couplet nurses, L&D nurses, and scrub techs.

Clinical Scope

• Labor and delivery management
• Cesarean section nursing
• Postpartum and newborn care
• OBED
• Labor inductions

Required Qualifications

• Active OB nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Cesarean section circulator experience
• First assist or scrub experience

Schedule & Expectations

• Night shift: Friday and Saturday
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirement
• Float within the unit only
• Scrubs provided
