Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced telemetry nurse for a 90-week contract assignment, working nights. You'll provide direct patient care in a monitored telemetry unit, managing patients on continuous cardiac monitoring with a focus on early recognition and intervention.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (NOC)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Guaranteed hours: Yes

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months telemetry experience
• Georgia license or active compact license
• BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification (required)
• Demonstrated skill with IV insertion and PICC line placement

Clinical Scope

You'll work in a dynamic telemetry environment, monitoring patients on continuous cardiac monitoring, recognizing arrhythmias, and responding to acute changes. Your responsibilities include IV insertion, PICC line placement, and coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team using the facility's electronic health record system.

What We're Looking For

A reliable, detail-oriented nurse with strong assessment skills and the ability to work independently on nights. You should be comfortable with fast-paced patient care and have excellent communication skills.
