Registered Nurse

Medical-Surgical RN — Travel Contract | Atlanta, GA

Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Estimated Start: September 21, 2026

This Med-Surg travel position is based in Atlanta, GA, supporting a unit that manages a broad range of acute medical diagnoses. The patient population includes adults presenting with CHF, COPD, diabetes, sepsis, ia, GI bleeding, altered mental status, hypertension, and renal failure.

Clinical Scope:

Nurses on this unit perform and assist with telemetry interpretation, IV insertion, PICC line management, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, nasogastric/feeding tube insertion, and NFT insertion. The role requires comfort with high-acuity medical patients and a wide procedural skill set.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of Med-Surg experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license — must be in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry interpretation proficiency
• IV insertion and PICC line experience

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse medical patient population and participating in unit procedures as needed.
